The vision of Connect Church began to form in 2009, when Frank Lovero attended a Church Planting Initiative at his college, the University of Valley Forge. During the prayer time, he felt like God was leading him to plant a church of his own one day. After graduating a year later, Frank was given the privilege to help start a church in Robbinsville, NJ with a wonderful team. Under the guidance of Pastor Dan Greco, he learned what it meant to love his community and lead them to Jesus. From this journey, they dreamt of planting a forest of churches. As one season ended, another began, when God led Frank to return to his home church of Pennington AG and work alongside Pastor Brian Lane. Over the years, they helped their church grow and often talked about how Pennington could help support Frank’s dream of starting a church in the future. Towards the end of 2018, Frank and his wife, Rachael, met with Pastor Dan because they all felt that God was preparing them for something more. That something more was a conversation about planting a church in East Windsor, NJ. After prayer and guidance, the Loveros felt that this was exactly where God wanted them to be. From Rachael’s childhood memories and years working at the Hightstown Diner, to Frank leading a diverse youth ministry in the heart of Mercer County, God had been preparing the way all along. With the support of Lifetree and Pennington AG, Frank and Rachael have been sent out to plant a church that will help multiply the Kingdom of God.
